A day in the life of Lee Tennant

Lee Tennant is our Marketing Executive who joined us last summer as a graduate. He’s now firmly settled in as part of the sales and marketing team – let’s find out more about his day.

Wake up time?

The alarm clock is normally set for 7 am, but I will hit the snooze button a couple of times.

What do you have for breakfast?

Normally just a banana and a breakfast bar, but I might occasionally treat myself to some coco pops.

What is the first thing you do when you get into work?

The first thing I do is make myself a cup of coffee, check my emails and set out what is at the top of the list to be done that day.

What project(s) are you working on?

I am currently helping Jennifer in sales, with contracts, variations and inbound inquiries as well as keeping up-to-date with my usual marketing activities.

Silence, radio or Spotify in the background when you’re working?

The radio is always on in the office but I will stick Spotify on if the office gets noisy or Jennifer’s and Lynn’s chat is particularly bad that day. Press play on that Westlife playlist!!

Favourite work colleague?

Everyone at Procure Wizard is great, but I have to say, Lynn and Jennifer as we always have a good laugh, mostly at Jennifer’s terrible impressions.

What’s the best bit about your job?

As our team is small, there is always an opportunity to do different things, which means that no day is ever the same. There is always something new to learn, as nothing is ever as simple as it first seems (which can be a good thing at times).

Packed lunch or take out for lunch?

I’m trying to be a bit healthier so I bring in a packed lunch, that doesn’t mean I won’t pick up something at the shops on my lunchtime walk.

Favourite thing about working for Procure Wizard?

Everyone at Procure Wizard is very friendly and are great to work with, which makes everything else easier.

How would your workmates describe working with you?

Hopefully friendly, always willing to help and probably quiet.
